½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons molasses

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups raisins

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Next, in a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.

3. Add egg, molasses and vanilla and beat until well combined.

4. Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.

5. Mix in oatmeal and raisins and refrigerate the cookie dough for 10 minutes.

6. Roll into balls and add to the baking sheet.

7. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes, until fully baked.
